Mu Cang Chai Bird Hides - Northern Vietnam

MU CANG CHAI BIRD HIDES

Mu Cang Chai Bird Hides is a network of bird-hides located in Mu Cang Chai (Che Tao Forest) - Northern Vietnam. These Hides give you a great opportunity of getting good quality photos of the most rare and shy "Pale-throated Wren-Babbler", seen by only a handful of birders.

• Main targets: Pale-throated Wren-Babbler (Near Endemic)
• Other species that can be photographed from these hides include: Himalayan Shortwing, Pygmy (Blue) Flycatcher...and more.

TECHNICAL INFO & SUBJECT DISTANCES:

• Max Participants: 6 Persons
• Lenses: Long lenses of 500 to 600mm are ideal (Or 300mm +TC)
• Subject Distances: 4 - 10 meters. Main activity at 5.50 meters.
• Getting to the hides: The short walk to the hides is a little steep so footwear with a good grip are recommended.
